The Extension requires the following permissions to function:

• tabs: Used to list the currently open tabs to identify YouTube videos.
• activeTab / host_permissions: Used to access the metadata (duration, title) and caption tracks of YouTube video pages you visit.

3. Third-Party Services

The Extension interacts directly with YouTube's servers to fetch video metadata and caption tracks on your behalf. This interaction is identical to a standard web browser request and does not expose your identity to us.
